Friday Family Class

Parent/Guardian and Child Class For all ages

Our family class meets once a week and is for children of any age as long as they are accompanied by their parent/guardian. As one large group of mixed ages students and parents, we explore the natural world together.  During this class children are able to get acclimated to the forest classroom with the support of their parent/guardian. These children have the opportunity to socialize with peers, get messy in the elements, and experience forest school. All of this happens rain or shine!

 tadpoles

Parent/Caregiver and Child Class

ages 18 months-3 years.

Our Tadpoles class meets once or twice a week. Students are  accompanied by their parent/caregiver. This class helps children acclimate to the forest classroom.The group will explore the natural world together, participate in a routine "circle time" and follow the interests of the group in open-ended activities. Tadpoles have the opportunity to socialize with other children, get messy in the elements, and experience forest school with the support of parents and caregivers.

 

Schedule:

Tuesday and Thursday (9:00am-11:00 am) 3 month Sessions. openings for Fall 2020.

minnows

PRESCHOOL CLASS AGES 3-5 (potty-trained)

Our Minnows class meets 3 days or 5 days per week. During each class students will explore the natural world, participate in a routine "circle time", and follow the interests of the group in a variety of open-ended activities. These explorations include hiking, creek romping, painting, climbing trees, fort building, creature finding and much more.

 

Schedules:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday (9:00am-1:00 pm)

Monday-Friday  (9:00am-1:00pm)

 

Optional: Extended care: 1:00-3:00 pm

Coyotes Kindergarten

 TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN FOR AGES 4.5-6 

 

Our Coyotes Class meets M-F each week. During each class we explore the natural world, participate in a routine  group meeting, carry out small group projects, focus on early literacy and adaptably follow interests demonstrated by the group through open-ended activities. These explorations include hiking, creek romping, painting, climbing trees, fort building, imaginative play, creature finding and much more!

 

Schedules:

Monday through Friday  (9:00am-1:00pm)

Optional: Extended care: 1:00-3:00 pm
